UpAuto is looking for a Lube Technician/Quick Service Technician at Ingersoll Chevrolet BUICK GMC

If you're passionate about cars and eager to launch your automotive career, this opportunity is your gateway to becoming a skilled and certified technician.  Reporting to the Service Manager, you will be responsible for performing routine vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, fluid checks, tire rotations, and ensuring all systems are functioning properly!

As a Lube Technician/Quick Service Technician, you'll work alongside experienced technicians, gaining valuable hands-on experience and essential technical skills.

Job Duties: 

·      Perform oil changes and replace oil filters 

·      Inspect and top off fluid levels, including coolant, transmission, and brake fluids 

·      Conduct tire rotations and pressure checks 

·      Replace air and cabin filters 

·      Inspect and replace worn-out wiper blades and batteries 

·      Perform basic vehicle safety inspections 

·      Maintain a clean and organized work area 

·      Communicate any additional vehicle issues to the service advisor 

·      Perform additional duties as needed

Successful Candidates Possess:

·      High school diploma or equivalent 

·      Basic automotive knowledge and mechanical aptitude 

·      Ability to operate standard maintenance tools and equipment 

·      Valid driver's license with a clean driving record 

·      Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills 

·      Good communication and customer service skills 

·      Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks

Job Details:  

• This role is required on a FULL-TIME, PERMANENT basis

• Comprehensive benefits package available

• Work Location: On-site at Ingersoll Chevrolet Buick GMC

• The expected compensation range for this role is $20.00- $23.00 / hour  (The range may vary based on experience and qualifications)

This compensation encompasses base salary and vacation pay as required under Ontario Regulation 476/24 made under the Employment Standards Act, 2000.
